The Irony of @#$% Political Correctness

A friend of mine who also has a WordPress Blog was recently sent a notice by WordPress to make his post about how Political Correctness is stupid more politically correct. To quote him: “hows that for irony?” This shows the paradigm of many a person who tries to make change. If it goes against the establishment it is deemed not politically correct and shunned. This goes against the very grain of the constitution. Many American citizens take those rights for granted. The people who support such unconstitutional things as political correctness and understand the consequences are idiots.

Yet another logical fallacy…

While just sitting in a classroom while being ineffectively being lectrued over some random topic that I had taught myself years earlier I started thinking about logic. I thought about how the common the common statement that if A=B and B=C then A=C. That statement is rather moronic if you look at it. If said logic statement is true then this is true: I am male, God is male, ergo I am God. If that was true I would be smashing planets now but I am not so therefore it is a logical fallacy. Take that most schools of logic!

Why piracy laws are quite blind

Piracy has been plauging the internet for as long as it was orginally plugged in. Many Western countries have cracked quite unreasonably hard on online piracy, yes I looking at you 100000 fine. What they fail to protect is the common persons intellectual property of their personal information. Why should musicians get royalties while I don’t get paid for my browsing history or personal info. Of course reform will never happen due to the burecratic stupid morons in our government.

A Radical Idea For A Radical Situation

The US economy is in shambles and Congress couldn’t budget a lemonade stand. We need a solution rather urgently. So here is what I propose to do to solve 3 major US problems:infrastructure, economy, and entitlements. I propose that the US cuts down its entitlements programs by a large factor and using the slack in the buget start on a major infrastructure improval project. The new jobs would compensate for the lack of entitlements and reduce the unemployment rate by a large amount. The idea sounds radical and probably has some random error that I hadn’t accounted for, but something like this could be just the thing to make the US economy the powerhouse it has been.

The fall of China

China is what Japan was in the 70s and 80s: the economic whirlpool that every competent buisness owner should outsource to…until there economy stagnates and falls. That is exactly what will happen to China. I predict that within the decade the Chinese economy or government will collaspe. First there economy, setting aside their imminent housing crisis and credit crisis it is extremely unstable. It may seem like a powerhouse destroying everything in it’s path but it is fragile. In order for the chinese companies to stay competetive they need to set their prices low. In order to sustain themselves they need to take loans, and as long as the money from exports is flowing in everything is good and they can pay off the loans. But lets say suddenly they had a stop in money flow like the US embargoing China for example, then they wouldn’t be able to pay or get loans and the system collapses. If that doesn’t occur political instability will be the death of China. China is still a police state and the younger generations hate, so there will be a Chinese spring much like the arab spring the rips apart China. For these reasons I believe China will collape within the decade.

Socialism: Cheaper than you think

At the time of writing this I am in Toronto, Ontario, CA. Staying in Canada has got me thinking about socialism. One of the main arguements against socialism is that you would be pay more in taxes for things you don’t use. I disagree with this. In the US healthcare is extremely expensive and you ofter pay 7000 dollars a year for services you may not use. In socialism you would pay more in taxes but 300,000 dollar operations would cost much less. It would be similar to insurance. This would go for other services as well. Think about this while you complain about socialism.

If the DPRK were Starcraft aliens the South would obliterate them…

While the North’s yearly rhetoric it has gotten to the point  were you can turn you calendar on auto-refresh for it, it might be serious with its threats this time. The DPRK, better known as North Korean (lesser known fact: baby boomers call em’ dirty communist bastards), has mobilized missiles, dissolved their armistice, and have done various other moronic actions that annoy just about every world power. These gestures aren’t usually part of their annual annoy the world with rhetoric month. Which leads you to think: is this just the whims of a fat little dictator (who would probably start WWIII for a chocolate bar) trying to consolidate his power, or is chubby being serious with his actions.

A war with North Korea is interesting to think about. If the North declared war on the US “imperialists” or the South Koreans then they would be turned into a grease spot. They have two ace in the holes. First off nukes. Thought small, these weapons could cause massive damage. They could cause massive economic damage by detonating a nuke over a city (EMP) or they could just turn a couple square miles to rubble. Next they could cause tens of thousands of deaths by shelling Seoul. WHich is just 35 miles form the DMZ. Other than that they have nothing.

A counter attack against the North would consist of the US and SK bombing population centers (Pyongyang). This would decimate them. A hailmary the North would use is an invasion of the South. They have 9 million strong army consisting of active, reserve, and paramilitary units, that would be pwned do to lack of supplies and obsolete tech. The US and SK would annex the North to the South ending the war.

Now because I cant resist I present to you the Kim Jong Un meme:

Is the government just looking for ways to stall economic growth?

Recently the Office of Environmental and Energy has turned over documents that provide proof that the Obama Administration is seeking to impose a Carbon tax. Essentially the office is housed in the Treasury’s Office of International Affairs that is another to put pressure on business through cap and trade, and carbon tax. I think the idea of a Carbon Tax is a wonderful way of preserving the environment. I just don’t like the Obama Administrations version of it and when they will introduce it. The United States economy is still very fragile and is starting to recover. Of course the government didn’t stall economic growth..what sequester?…what tax increases?. A Carbon Tax now or in the upcoming years could halt that recovery by making it more expensive for business to operate. Do we want that happen? Can’t we wait for a boom time or when better more efficient technology comes out to buffer the blow? In addition I do not like Obama’s version of the Carbon Tax. This would harm business, which harms the US. It would be better if their was a Carbon Cap that if the company went over paid the government, but if they didn’t hit it, get paid by the government. I so did not rip this idea from Europe. One last point: there would be inevitable “gas stamps” by the government, which would rack up more spending, and just have a purpose of getting the Democratic Party elected. Show mercy on this economy Obama.

Time to topple a conspiracy theory

Its been circulating around the internet for a few years now that China will invade the USA. This is completely ludicrous. Lets first examine how an invasion of the US would turn out. First China would want to brace itself economically as capturing the USA would be a huge blow economically to them as some of its main sources of revenue: Canada, USA, and the EU would immediately be against it. This being said as China mobilizes its troops it would have to make huge cuts would inevitably have to come form the military which starts to weaken it. Next China would want to capture or cripple Japan and South Korea them being major allies of the USA. To do this they would want to cripple the economy of these countries through cyber attacks and EMPs (nukes over cities). Now that China has captured these countries and is hurting economically it would attack the USA. China would first try to execute massive cyber attacks against the USA. In addition it would bombard the West Coast with bombs. Lets assume that China begins an invasion in spite of US and NATO response it would be extremely taxing. With their economy already failing it would be difficult to finance a huge operation such as this. The US being allies with many other powerful countries would most likely overwhelm Chinese forces. Occupation would be the hardest for China; we have 80 million gun owners nuff’ said. From what I outlined here a Chinese invasion of USA would fail horribly. So suck it conspiracy theorists.

Liberal Fascism

I recently read the interesting, but extremely biased book called Liberal Fascism. This book showed how the contemporary liberal society at its extreme is actually closer to fascism than the contemporary conservative. Heck it even alerted me to the fact that fascism as Hitler designed is called by him Nationalsozialismus or in English National Socialism. I did notice that if you further think about the book it actually shows the ineffectiveness of labels such as Liberal, Conservative, Socialist, Authoritarian, Libertarian, Communist, etc. Really these labels all intersect at some point. Therefore if really they are all the same they are ineffective as labels. People make these labels to simplify complex subjects. There is a little food for thought for you.
